The LIDMA Innovation Award recognizes technology designed to change the way life insurance is purchased – including disruptors that may not be members of the LIDMA community today. The LIDMA Board invites you to apply or nominate an organization that is blazing the trail of technological and digital innovation.

Innovation Award Guidelines:
Any organization can apply or be nominated. All finalists for the Innovation Award will be promoted at the Fall meeting. There will only be one winner per year. The ultimate winner of the award will be voted on by the LIDMA Board of Directors based on the following criteria:
1) Does it improve the life insurance buying experience?
2) Can it be easily implemented into the consumer buying journey?
3) Does it reduce costs while increasing revenue for its users?
4) Is the solution built to be supported long-term?
5) Does it provide a solution to a need in the life insurance industry?
Benefits of winning the LIDMA Innovation Award:
The award finalists and ultimate winner will receive prestigious recognition at the Fall meeting. In addition, LIDMA will put out a press release acknowledging the finalists and winner detailing the technology innovation. LIDMA will put our full weight behind promoting the innovation and moving it forward in the industry.
Submission Deadline: August 25th**
*Any submissions received for organizations conducting, or in the process of conducting business with a member organization represented on the LIDMA Board, will require exclusion of the Board Member in discussions, evaluations and nomination of applicant.
**Any submissions received after the posted deadline will be held until the next review period. Applicants who submit past deadline will be notified of the decision.
